About Us
The Osaka School of Arts is the first of it's kind offering a manga teaching program that is primarily focused on allowing foreign students to learn directly from a mangaka in Japan. Our school is located near Tennoji Eki a major station in Osaka Prefecture located next to the famous Abeno Harukas. Through our school you can have the unique experience living and learning in Japan. Even if you have zero knowledge on drawing, our ABC program can get you from nothing to hopefully publishing your work as a real mangaka! The goal of our school is to make your dream of becoming a mangaka come true! Come join a community of like minded artists and begin your life in Japan. Our school even offers a Japanese language learning course. We will assist you in every step to ensure that your stay in Japan is a smooth and successful process.
Our Programs
A program
Start from zero. You know nothing about drawing or are a beginner and would like to learn how to draw Manga and Anime.
B Program
You know how to draw at an intermediate level, but you would like to learn how to draw like a mangaka specifically and improve your skills to get to that next level.
C Program
You are a professional level. You want to learn the ins and outs of the manga industry. Learn how the business of manga functions and get support with editing, story, and writing. We will help you enter the industry and submit your one shot to a real manga studio

How to apply and requirements
Requirements for Visa
Japanese visas have specific requirements needed to be approved by immigration. If all requirements are met there should be no issue in the visa process. The cultural visa has one of the fastest approval times out of all the visas in Japan: 1 to 3 months of processing time. Once approved we will give step by step instruction to get you to your stay in Japan
